Today we watched this video called, To This Day, by a Canadian poet Shane Koyczan about bullying. There were a lot of strong and powerful messages but the one that stuck the most was “our lives will only ever always continue to be a balancing act that has less to do with pain and more to do with beauty.”
This video shows how bad bullying is getting.
We will have to start making a difference because if not it is going to keep going in a continuous loop and it will never stop. If it doesn’t stop people are going to think of themselves as UGLY, when they aren’t they have inner BEAUTY. People don’t think of themselves as normal they think their mistakes in life but we aren’t no one is, Everyone is a gift of God.
To me this video got me thinking why do we bully other kids?
We are all humans; just because they have a different personality doesn’t mean we should be picked on them.
Another saying that I love is “treat people the way you want to be treated”, I think we don’t do that enough. I insulted someone and I am not the only one, every single person has done something mean because nobody is perfect.
Why are kids being cruel regularly how can we make it stop? I think we should stop and think before we say. What will happen if it keeps going our population will go down because of bullying. Sometimes if we get a hurtful nickname we stop liking that thing, like if you loved pork chops like the Shane Koyczan in the video. He got called pork chop and now he hates pork chops. What is going to happen in a few years? And how can we make a difference? This is something we all need to think about.
There is a link on my website for the video and I suggest you watch because it is a big inspiration.
